Alissa So it’s that time of year again when I get stuck for ideas on what I should buy my family and friends for Christmas.
Some friends I know set a 3 hour window, hit the shops and are done with all their gift shopping in one morning! For me, it takes a lot of time and a lot of window shopping. I like to put a lot of thought into my gifts and enjoy finding that special something.

I am buying a weekend away package for myself and hubby to share
I usually buy the kids the latest and greatest toys so this year it will be more shopping at walmart
my husband has been quoting borat for a few weeks as I think he wants the movie I am considering buying him one of those mankini’s borat wears instead hehehe
we made a pack at a family a few years back that we would donate the money we would spend on presents to charity every second year and work to help the homeless instead. this year we plan to donate about 300 and work in the local shelter
My wife and I just bought a house this year (in this crisis are we crazy!!!
) so we will probably buy household gifts for each other such as new furniture and kitchen things
The kids want an inflatable pool as it is fairly hot this time of year in Australia.
Husband will probably get a new watch or camping gear.
I have asked my husband for some perfume and a beauty pack for gifts

Some may hate me but I am a sucker for just buying vouchers so I find the are more usefu for family esepecially when lots of my family have most things they want
I am going to get the wife some new jewels and a cleaner to clean the house for us while we relax for a few days

My wife loves candles so I bought some wickless candles and a warmer from this place: http://www.harmonygrovecandles.com I just received them in the mail this week and they are awesome and most of all inexpensive. I would have to recommend these. Also Amazon has crazy deals that are not advertised through the day.
